is the Director of the Australia Defence Association, and his article in this issue of National Observer is based upon a paper delivered by him to the Society for Australia's Industry and Employment Inc.

DR. I.C.F. SPRY, Q.C.

is Editor of National Observer, a Queen's Counsel and a former member of the Melbourne University and Monash University Law Faculties.

MR. R.J. STOVE

is a writer and commentator on public affairs and has had numerous articles published in Quadrant, National Observer, Chronicles and The American Conservative, and his work The Unsleeping Eye: A Brief History of the Secret Police and Their Victims was recently published by Duffy and Snellgrove.

HIS EXCELLENCY PIERGIORGIO MAZZOCCHI

is the Ambassador in Australia for the European Union.

MR. BILL MUEHLENBERG

is Vice-President of the Australian Family Association and has written widely on family and social matters.

MR. MAX TEICHMANN

is a former member of the Faculty of Politics and Economics at Monash University, and has for many years been a commentator on Australian social and political affairs and foreign policy.

PROFESSOR JOHN McMILLAN

is a Professor of Law at the Australian National University, and his article in this issue of National Observer is based upon a paper delivered by him to the Samuel Griffith Society.
